Raipur: The School education department has declared inspections of govt schools after the new academic session commences on June 15th. The inspection is aimed to ensure 100 per cent attendance of staff and students.

According to an officer in the know, the department has decided to conduct surprise inspections between June 15 to July 15th. All divisional joint directors, joint deputy directors, and assistant directors have been instructed to pay a surprise visit to ten schools including higher secondary, high school, middle school and primary schools of their areas. Principal of higher secondary schools and group coordinator will inspect five middle and primary schools in their circles. All the officers engaged have been instructed to solve the problems while inspecting the schools and submit a detailed report to the divisional joint director by July 25th.

If any teacher is found absent, action will be taken against them, it added. It has been instructed to submit a complete report regarding management and follow-ups of education schemes after inspection. This report will be inspected by the district education officer, joint director to the department secretary.

The officers will also review the implementation of the govt schemes that include Swami Atmanand Utkrisht English and Hindi medium, free textbook, uniform, cycle and appropriate mid-day meal, admission under RTE, Mahtari Dular Yojana, scholarship, and school infrastructure and toilets.
