Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh: The next meeting program of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel with the general public will now be held on November 20 in the Rajnandgaon Assembly. On that day, he will set up Jan-choupal in villages Surgi and Sukuldaihan. Both areas are considered to be strongholds of the BJP.
The Chief Minister can give many big gifts on the pretext of meeting there. Apart from this, a meeting is also proposed in the Kunjbihar Colony of the city. After the arrival of the new date, the people’s representatives along with the administration have started preparations. In the two villages that have been selected for this, the BJP got an edge in the last assembly elections. The Chief Minister can try to strengthen the Congress’ roots in these areas by making big announcements.
It is notable that Chief Minister Bhupesh has so far done the meet programs in Dongargaon, Dongargarh, and Khujji assembly constituencies. It is the turn of the Rajnandgaon area on Sunday. After that, he will reach to meet the general public in Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai and Mohla-Manpur-Chowki i.e. two assembly constituencies of the undivided Rajnandgaon district. However, its date has not been decided yet. It is expected that he may visit the remaining two areas by November.
On Friday, Collector Doman Singh gave necessary guidelines in the Collectorate meeting hall after holding a meeting of officers regarding the preparation of the meeting program of the Chief Minister. He said that all revenue and district-level officers should ensure necessary arrangements for the program.
He put the officers of the Public Works Department on duty for the pandal and stage and gave the necessary instructions. It is important to issue entry passes to all officers and employees. Instructions were given for the arrangement of drinking water, snacks, and food for the guests. The Collector said that all the officers should work actively and maintain coordination.
