Raipur: With preparations for Chhattisgarh Rajyotsav being organized at Raipur Science College underway, CM Bhupesh Baghel on Wednesday announced three state-level awards to inspire new artists seeking to practice the intrigued culture of the state.
Award in the name of Laman Masturia will be conferred in the field of folklore while the folk music award dedicated to Khuman Sao will be adjudged to the best folk music artist in the state. The last award will be the Mata Kaushalya award which will be awarded to the best Ramanayan Mandli.
The state foundation day begins on November 1st. The Rajyotsav will have a National Tribal dance festival as a wall. A meeting in regards to the preparations was held in September during which all departments were directed to submit their plan of action by October 15th.
