Rajnandgaon: In response to villagers’ complaints of inefficiency and lack of commitment to duties by the five secretaries, Suruchi Singh, the CEO of District Panchayat, suspended 5 secretaries. The action follows the consideration given by the complaints that the villagers make. Suspended officials within the police force have been accused of negligence of duty and failure to obey instructions from their superiors.
Suspension by the CEO
From the information, this important step that was aimed at the Board was taken after looking at the various complaints from the villagers under the jurisdiction of Janpad Panchayat Dongargarh. The former secretary of gram panchayat Medha and the present Secretary of Gram Panchayat Kolhapuri (Navagaon), namely Prakash Ramtek, have also been suspended along with the former secretary and present Secretary of Gram Panchayat Aurda Manharan Rautre.
They are accused of dereliction of duty and failure to observe the policy set by the higher authorities. While Prakash Ramteke is away, his office will be in Janpad Panchayat Dongargarh, whereas Manharan Rautre will have his office in Janpad Panchayat Rajnandgaon during the suspension period. This minister explained that the suspended secretaries would be given a subsistence allowance as provided.
Suspensions in Other Regions
Likewise, the report of Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Janpad Panchayat Mohla, Secretary Jitendra Kumar Dhruv, Janpad Panchayat Mohla, and Tilak Ram Hedame, Secretary, Gram Panchayat, Doomartola, have been suspended with immediate effect for negligence and non-compliance with the higher official instructions. They will have their operational base during the suspension in Janpad Panchayat Mohla.
In another case, a report from the Chief Executive Officer of Janpad Panchayat Ambagarh Chowki regarding Secretary Hemulal Komre of Gram Panchayat Atra has also been suspended for several reasons. Therefore, during the suspension period, his headquarters will be Janpad Panchayat Ambagarh Chowki. The suspended secretaries shall be paid a subsistence allowance based on the provisions as and when they are due.
