Raipur: An important cabinet meeting has been today under the chairmanship of Chattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel. All the members of the cabinet were present in the meeting when the minister discussed issues related to paddy procurement and problems pertaining to farmers in the state.
CM Baghel reviewed the situation of Corona in neighboring states as Omicron infected patients have been confirmed in Maharashtra. Many school children have been founded Corona positive in the state. Vikas Upadhyay, Parliamentary Secretary of the state has demanded the closure of the schools. Instructions have been given to the officials of the School Education Department regarding the same.
It is an essential meeting today as the preparations for the upcoming winter session of the Vidhan Sabha were reviewed and at the same time the ongoing paddy procurement in the state from December 1 was also reviewed.
