Arang: The administration has done a lot in the aspect of acting against the computerized and physical squatters within the town’s government land. The Arang Revenue Department, along with Municipal Administration and Arang Police, conducted the Bulldozer drive on around six acres of plotted land, which is occupied illegitimately near Odka, on Arang-Nayapara road. Arang Tehsildar Sita Shukla claimed that the measure was taken on the instructions of Raipur Collector Gaurav Kumar Singh and with the support of SDM Pushpendra Sharma. The illicit impres met entailed putting up roads and setting up poles, these were removed by bulldozers. Other officials present during the operation include the Chief Municipal Officer Kumar Patel.
Demanding the land mafia involved in redevelopment and encroachment on government properties, Tehsildar Sita Shukla warned that such acts would not be allowed in the Arang area.
