Raipur: As many as six Jawans of the 211th battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF)  have reportedly been injured in a  blast at a Railway platform in Raipur, Chhattisgarh this morning. The incident is reported to have occurred due to the blast of a dummy cartridge box attached with a grenade that fell on the floor of a special CRPF train bound to Kashmir and led to a blast.

Reportedly these Jawans were on the way to Jammu Tawi on a train from Jharsuguda, Orissa that halted at Platform Number 2 at Raipur railway station.  One of the personnel amongst the cadet-a head constable is reported to be serious and admitted to Narayana Hospital in Raipur. The others injured are being treated for their injuries.

The latest incident with the CRPF in Chhattisgarh was reported two weeks ago on 30th September after a pressure improvised explosive device planted by Naxals went off in Bijapur district.
