Chhattisgarh, Balrampur: The Bhartiya Janta Party on Sunday, took to the streets of Balrampur district in Chhattisgarh to protest against the manure shortage in the region. As a result of strong protest on either sides of the orad, heavy traffic was witnessed and the officials found it difficult to manage the situation. The former Home Minister of State, Ramsewak Paikra lead the protest on the Rajiv Gandhi Chowk in the city. Heavy Police force has been deputed in the area to curb any uncertain incident.
To maintain the law and order in the ongoing protest, SDM, Wadrnagar Police Station Officer, Tehsildar and SDOP have stepped in to monitor the situation and to handle any unfortunate incident owing to the protests. District SDM, Deepak Nikunj, had a conversation with the protestors to go off from the protest. He assured that the issues of protestors will be addressed in two days and appropriate action will be taken in this aspect.
The societies will receive the required manure and seeds on time, the SDM assured. After his assurance the BJP workers and leaders ended the protest and allowed 2 days to the authorities. The road blockage was also eased off and the commuters were relieved after hours of blockage.
