NARAYANPUR: Two unidentified men shot dead BJP leader Sagar Sahu in Chhattisgarh’s Chhotedongar village in Narayanpur district on Friday. Sahu was the district vice president of the BJP party.
As per media reports, two unidentified assailants came on a bike and entered the house of Sahu and fired a bullet at his head while he was watching TV.
Interacting with the media, police said that at around 8 pm two bike-borne assailants entered the house of Sagar Sahu and fired two bullets at him and fled away. Sahu was taken to a nearby hospital but was referred to a government hospital in Narayanpur where he died during treatment.
It is being speculated that the Naxals killed the saffron party leader, however, there is no confirmation yet.
