Raipur: To control speeding vehicles in the city, the Municipal Corporation and the Police Traffic Department took the initiative to install tyre killers for those driving on the wrong side. This initiative is also proving effective. In two days, tyres of more than one and a half dozen vehicles plying on the wrong side have burst. Tyre killers were installed at two places in Raipur but due to fear of accident, they have been removed from one place.
Tyre killer has been installed in Kake The Happy Dhaba Road, ahead of Telibandha Ring Road of the city. Along with this, the tyre killer installed near the multilevel parking has been removed due to fear of accidents. Whereas the Municipal Corporation had issued a warning 3 days ago by putting up a board near the multi-level parking. Not only this, but the traffic police personnel deployed here were also seen continuously explaining things to the people. Tires of many vehicles burst on Saturday due to tyre killer installed near the Ring Road. It is being told that within two days of applying tire killer, tyres of more than one and a half dozen vehicles have burst.
