Bastar: A new force of local youth named ‘Bastar Tigers’ is being raised on the Naxal front in Bastar region of Chhattisgarh. Sainath, Secretary, Darbha Division Committee of Naxalites had issued a press note regarding the recruitment of youth and said that the youth who specialize in hunting shall be recruited in ‘Bastar Tigers’.
‘Bastar Tigers’ is a local youth group consisting 2800 youth. Many of these youth are the ones whose parents have been killed by the Naxalites in front of their own eyes. Till now, more than 15,000 youth have been applied and have been trained by the district administration and police administration of every district of Chhattisgarh before recruitment.
Sainath said that the way for tribal youth to do other jobs is closed and they can only be recruited in the police department. He further claimed that it is his job to hunt and kill the leaders running the mass movement. Massacres like Adsameta and Sarkeguda will increase further.
Dr. Abhishek Pallav, Superintendent of Police, Dantewada became furious at the press note and said that the Naxalites believe that the youth of the interior area are now getting ready to take up arms.
While Sainath said in his press note that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is trying to make a Hindu nation, he is trying to make a Naxal-free and Congress-free state by 2022. With this, he announced a one-to-one battle with the Naxalites.
