Pratappur: CM Bhupesh Baghel in state-wide yatra reached Govindpur, Prataapur development block of Surajpur district. In response to complaints by the general public, CM immediately suspend the DFO and lady ranger.
The DFO Manish Kashyap and ranger Sanskriti Birle in charge of the Gauthans were immediately issued a suspension letter.
Baghel began a whirlwind tour of all 90 constituencies on May 4th, a yatra which he hopes to complete in the next four to five months. The yatra is said to be a strong activity that would strengthen the ruling party’s grip on the state. On day 1 he visited Kusmi, Shaknargarh and Bariyo in the Samri Assembly constituency of Ramanujganj district.
“Feedback is important. I cannot get angry with complaints because this is what I have come to hear. Now I know some things were set right before my arrival. My officials are taking notes,” Baghel said interacting with the reporters, adding, “But what is important is that any person can now directly talk to the CM. It gives them a sense of empowerment. The Government is at their doorstep.”
