Raipur: Hours after Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi stacked an attack on Modi Govt over the report on Pegasus Spyware, Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel also took to his Twitter handle and slammed the Centre.
His tweet read-There is no pillar of democracy in which the Modi Govt has not spied. The centre didn’t even spare the army, he added. He stated how the govt traded billions for the spyware and kept it a secret.
Meanwhile, at the centre, the Congress revived its attack on the Modi Govt at a press conference in Delhi. Congress General Secretary Randeep Surjewalaaa accused the Prime Minister of himself being involved in the spyware deal and alleged that the BJP government is a “deployer and executor of illegal and unconstitutional spying.”
“Shocking and new expose in an international publication has now established what INC always maintained, that Modi government is deployer and executor of illegal and unconstitutional spying and snooping racket through Israeli surveillance spyware Pegasus and PM Modi is himself involved,” said Surjewala.
