Raipur: Anganwadi workers and helpers from all over the state have once again started a six-day strike in the capital Raipur. From December 10th to 16th, they will protest at the marketplace, their demands include declaring government employees, giving facilities and honorarium like Madhya Pradesh, recruiting supervisors from 100 per cent Anganwadi workers, insurance of five lakh workers.
Anganwadi workers will sit at the Angadh marketplace demanding their dues and raise their voices to fulfil their demands from the government and administration. Anganwadi worker-helper union president Pilabai Uike said that in Antagarh, it has been decided to go on strike from December 10th. The demand was made before the government as well, but till now no effort has been made from the side of the government. Sangh’s Vice President Alopa Patel, Member Mental Sonkunwar, Gangotri said that after the strike in Antagarh, on December 16th, a rally in Raipur will raise the voice of the government to fulfil their promise.
