Raipur: : Today is the second day of Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s visit to Chhattisgarh. He will depart for Jagdalpur from Raipur Airport at 11 am. Upon arrival in Jagdalpur, he will attend the Bastar Dussehra celebrations and offer prayers at the Maa Danteshwari Temple. Following this, he will address the people of Bastar in a staged program. During this program, Amit Shah will reiterate his resolve to make Bastar Naxal-free.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai will participate in various programs organized in Jagdalpur today. He will leave Raipur for Jagdalpur at 11:15 am. Accompanied by Union Home Minister Amit Shah, the Chief Minister will offer prayers at the Maa Danteshwari Temple. He will then attend the Muria Darbar program at 12:30 pm and a stage program at Lalbag at 1:25 pm. Returning to Raipur at 7:30 pm, the Chief Minister will participate in the Youth Poets’ Conference organized at the Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium.
Earlier on Friday, as CM Vishnudeo Sai welcomed the home minister, he retweeted a tweet posted by Amit Shah on X that read, “In the Bastar region where the guns of Naxalites once echoed, there is now peace and development. The entire Bastar is joyfully celebrating the grand festival of ‘Bastar Dussehra’ with great enthusiasm. Yesterday, I arrived in Raipur to participate in the fair of ‘Bastar Dussehra’, the symbol of culture and harmony, in Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh”.
The 20th installment of the Mahatari Vandan Yojana will be released.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah will release the 20th installment of the Mahatari Vandan Yojana in Jagdalpur today. Under this scheme, ₹606.94 crore will be transferred to the bank accounts of over 6.5 million women. Previously, ₹12,376 crore has been disbursed to women in 19 installments. With the release of the new installment, the total amount under this scheme will exceed ₹12,983 crore. This is considered a historic step towards women’s economic empowerment and self-reliance.
