Raipur: Amidst the speculations of transfer of baton in Chhattisgarh a second delegation of legislators from the state arrived in Delhi on Friday evening. According to the sources, nearly 13 MLAs have arrived so far. It is speculated that several more would land in the national Capital by the evening.
Interacting with the media reporters before departing for Bematra, CM Baghel shedding light on the MLAs visit said, “The MLAs are going on their own wish, they are independent…but there is no political movement.” Downplaying Former CMs statement he said, “Chhattisgarh can never become Punjab.”
This visit by the legislators has been viewed as a show of strength. However, peers close to CM Baghel stated that their arrival was by no means concerned with the political tussle in the party. Speaking to the reporters after arriving in Delhi today morning, Congress MLAs Mamta Chaandrakar, Kunwar Singh Nishad, Vinay Bhagat and Laxmi Dhruv cited their arrival as a personal tour and quashed all political dilemmas.
In recent days, Delhi has welcomed several MLAs from the Chhattisgarh Congress party. Earlier on September 29th Brihaspat Singh re-iterated there was no scope of change in leadership and the Baghel govt would continue its full term. He stated their visit was to meet the AICC in-charge of Chhattisgarh PL Punia in regards to Mr Gandhi’s tour to the state.
