Raipur: In wake of the declining case of COVID-19 in the state, all Govt offices were instructed to resume working from offices from 8th February onwards. As per the statistics recorded by the state health dept, the infection rate in the state fell below 5 per cent.
The state government has issued an order to the ministry and directorate to operate in the presence of 100% employees. The notice further instructed all employees to abide by the norms being set by the administration and follow all the COVID protocols timely.
The administration further scrapped the RT-PCR report rule according to which, all passengers at the airport had to present an RT-PCR test report conducted 72 hours ago. Altering the norms authorities now mandated the presentation of vaccine certificates for all passengers.
After nearly a month today, the active tally of the state was below 1000. As per the state bulletin, the active tally stood at 16,608. A drop in the active cases by 274 was reported in the past 24 hours. Nearly 11,08,630 recuperations have been documented including 1241 recoveries in the past 24 hours. The death toll stood at 13,937 cumulatively.
