Dhamtari: Congress Party’s National Spokesperson and National President of Women’s Congress, Alka Lamba, is on a two-day visit to Chhattisgarh. On Monday, she arrived in Dhamtari and boosted the morale of women at the Women’s Conference. Thousands of women from Dhamtari and surrounding districts participated in the conference. Addressing the gathering, National President Alka Lamba said that our leader Rahul Gandhi started the ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ from Manipur, and this journey will end in Mumbai. We need the right to half of the country’s population, and now we need complete justice for women. The fight for “women’s justice” will continue until women receive economic protection as well as social justice. Rahul Gandhi’s dream is that 50% of the chief ministers of the states should be women in the coming years.

In the conference, Pradesh President and Rajya Sabha MP of Chhattisgarh Women’s Congress, Phulodevi Netam, inspired women to work hard together to win all 11 seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. She said that we, all Congress workers, are determined to defeat the anti-women BJP government in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

In the conference, Prabhari Sunita Sahrawat, along with MLA and former minister Anila Bhediya, MLA Ambika Markam, Oankar Sahu, Sangita Sinha, Savitri Mandavi, Pradesh Spokesperson and Secretary Preeti Upadhyay, Mayor Vijay Devangan, along with Dhamtari city district president of Women’s Congress, Surya Prabha Chettiyaar, and Dhaneshwari Sahu, the rural district president of Women’s Congress in Dhamtari, were also present.
