Travelers in Chhattisgarh are going to get another air connectivity by Air India between Raipur and Delhi from October 26. The airline has submitted a proposal to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) seeking approval for new flights. With the proposal, Air India will now operate a total of three daily flights between Delhi and Raipur.
The new service will work in the afternoon after the existing morning and evening flights from Air India. The daily scheduled flight will be Flight AI 2635, which departs from Delhi at 12:10 PM, and will arrive in Raipur at 2:05 PM. The return flight AI 2636 will depart Raipur at 2:35 PM and arrive in Delhi by 4:45 PM.
Currently, there are 24 daily flights operating out of Swami Vivekananda Airport in Raipur, servicing major cities across India. One new service will be with Air India and the other with IndiGo, both planned to start October 26, 2023. After the addition of these service, there will be a total of 26 daily flights.
