Raipur: Chhattisgarh marks its silver jubilee with a grand five-day cultural extravaganza from November 1 to 5 in Nava Raipur, celebrating 25 years since the state’s formation on November 1, 2000. The main stage will come alive each evening with renowned artists from across India, including Hansraj Raghuvanshi, Aditya Narayan, Ankit Tiwari, Kailash Kher, and Bhoomi Trivedi, alongside local talents. Renowned playback singer Aditya Narayan will be the main attraction at Chhattisgarh’s Silver State Festival today. He will perform songs starting at 9 p.m. Cultural programs will begin at 6:30 p.m. Sunil Tiwari, Jayshree Nair Chinhari The Girl Band, and Padmashree Domar Singh Kanwar Nacha Dal will perform first. Similarly, cultural programs will be presented by various artists on November 3, 4, and 5.
Deputy Chief Minister Saw’s visit to Bastar
Deputy Chief Minister Arun Saw will be on a visit to Bastar today. During this visit, he will attend the inauguration ceremony of the State Festival in Jagdalpur. According to the schedule, Deputy Chief Minister Arun Saw will depart from his residence in Nava Raipur by car for Swami Vivekananda Airport, Raipur, at 10:45 am. From there, he will depart by state plane for Maa Danteshwari Airport in Jagdalpur at 11:15 am.
After arriving in Jagdalpur at 12 noon, he will proceed to City Ground, where he will attend the inauguration ceremony of the Chhattisgarh State Festival. After the ceremony, he will stay at the Circuit House, Jagdalpur, from 1:15 pm to 2 pm. He will then depart from the Circuit House for Maa Danteshwari Airport at 2 pm and depart for Raipur by state plane at 2:15 pm. After arriving in Raipur at 3 pm, Deputy Chief Minister Arun Saw will return by car to his residence (M-6, Sector 24, Nava Raipur).
