Mungeli: In the Punjab Assembly elections held for 117 seats, Aam Aadmi Party has won 92 seats. However, many faces are being credited for this. Now when the discussion of the names of the candidates for the five seats of Rajya Sabha is going on, one name is coming out of Sandeep Pathak. Apart from Sandeep Pathak, an Associate Professor at IIT-Delhi and an AAP strategist, AAP leader Raghav Chadha and former India cricketer Harbhajan Singh have also been named.
Sandeep is a resident of Lormi in Mungeli district of Chhattisgarh. His family still lives in Batha village. His father and uncle do farming in the village. As soon as Sandeep’s name was announced for the Rajya Sabha member from Punjab, the celebration started in the village. Sandeep Pathak, whom the Aam Aadmi Party is giving so much attention, was operating as the strategist of the Aam Aadmi Party in Punjab from behind the scenes.
AAP has been described as the biggest strategist in Punjab. Sandeep was active in the strategy of Punjab for many years. Now the Aam Aadmi Party does not want to bring this strategist in front of everyone. He kept working quietly with the AAP teams in Punjab without coming into the limelight. He maintained a proper distance from social media to mainstream media.
Sandeep is the eldest son of the family. His brother Pradeep Pathak and sister Pratibha Pathak are younger than Sandeep. Sandeep did his early studies from Lormi, after which he went to Bilaspur for further studies. Then went to Hyderabad for college studies, after which went to Cambridge University in London to do Master’s and PhD.
