SUKMA: 7 Naxals were detained in a joint operation launched by the 141 Battalion of CRPF and CG Police. The seven have been identified as members of the Revolutionary People’s Council (RPC) of the banned Communist Party of India Maoist Party.
The naxals are identified as Kalmu Satyam, Kalmu Joga, Madivi Manga, Vando Unga, Madakam Aitha, Kalmu, Kikidi Joga, and Kalmu Bheema who are members of the RPC for three, two, and one-year respectively.
A search operation was launched in late hours on Wednesday around Konadavai village in Sukma, officials said.
Recently, the Maoists established a FOB to continue search operations in the regions with a great vigil to avoid the possibility of revival of Maoist strength.
