Sukma: 6 hardcore surrendered in the Naxal dominated Sukma district, police officials said on Tuesday.
According to an official statement, the Naxals surrendered with their country made weapons to the CRPF DIG Yogyaan Singh and SP Sunil Sharma. The Naxals cited the “Poorna Narkam Campaign’ as the motivation to surrender.
The surrendered Naxals will be provided assistance under the govt rehab policy, officials stated.
Further details on the surrender are awaited as police officials undertake procedures to align assistance for them under the policy.
