Bijapur. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is coming to Chhattisgarh today; ahead of his visit, 50 Naxalites surrendered together in Bijapur. According to the information, a reward of Rs 68 lakh was declared on 13 of the surrendered Naxalites.

So far in the year 2025, a total of 157 Maoists have surrendered before the police. So far in the year 2025, a total of 153 Maoists have been arrested. Security forces have killed and 83 Maoists in different encounters. Out of all the surrendered Maoists, 50 were involved in incidents like firing, ID blast, arson etc.

All the Naxalites surrendered in front of CRPF DIG Devendra Singh Negi, Superintendent of Police Dr. Jitendra Yadav, Additional SP Mayank Gurjar IPS, DSP Sharad Jaiswal, and other officials. Officials said that the surrendered Maoists have been assisted Rs 25,000 each under the rehabilitation policy. They will also be provided with other facilities by the Chhattisgarh government.

PM Modi Visit Chhattisgarh

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reached Raipur today on a one-day visit to Chhattisgarh. As soon as he reached Raipur airport, Governor Ramen Deka, Deputy CM Arun Sao, Deputy CM Vijay Sharma, MLA Purandar Mishra and many big ministers and MLAs welcomed him warmly. PM Modi is on a visit to Chhattisgarh for the first time after the Lok Sabha 2024 elections. Today he will attend a program organized at Mohbhatta in Bilaspur and will give gifts worth crores to the state.
