Hasaud, CG: 3 more have been arrested for brutally trashing a cow in Lalmati village of Hasaud official said on Friday.
The incident came to the fore after a social media post went viral. In the video, a group of men are seen beating a cow mercilessly with its face covered.
On primary investigation, it is revealed that the men bet the cow as it had destroyed their fields. They had decided to beat the cow, kill it and then dump it in the river.
Earlier, the police in the same case had arrested 2 more in their first search operation.
