Raigarh: A blast took place at Navdurga Steel Factory in Raigarh, Chhattisgarh on Thursday. During which, a labourer working there died due to being hit. While the condition of the 3 others is critical. All have been admitted to Jindal Fortis Hospital. It is being told that the blast took place in the induction furnace. The reason for this is not yet known.
According to the information, labourers were working near the induction furnace in the Navadurga factory located in Saraipali. In the meantime, there was a loud explosion. Due to this, four labourers got burnt. After this, all the labourers were hurriedly admitted to the hospital. In this, a labourer died during treatment. The rest of the three are being treated in the hospital.
It is being told that the accident happened around 7 AM. Even before this, there has been an accident at Navdurga Steel Plant. Capital pathra police station in-charge KK Singh has confirmed the incident that happened in the morning. He said that the cause of the accident is being investigated. At present, the investigation team from the industrial area is reaching the plant. Information in this regard will be given after some time.
