Bilaspur: 2 constables of Koni police station were allowing vehicles at no entry by taking money. A clarification has also been sought from the station in charge of the matter. Recently, SP Jha was returning from Raipur. During this, he saw many heavy vehicles coming from the city side near Hiri police station. He called the traffic DSP Sanjay Sahu and directed him to take action on it. Traffic personnel started the action by stopping the vehicles coming from the city side.
Meanwhile, DSP Sahu also reached the spot. He took information from the drivers in this regard. It was found in this that the soldiers posted near Turkadih bridge have taken Rs. 100 each for entry. DSP gave this information to SP Deepak Jha. On this, the SP reprimanded the Koni police station in-charge of Sunil Kurre fiercely. Along with this, the line was attached to the jawans Sandeep Dubey and GhansuPaikra, who were doing duty near the bridge. He has also directed a departmental inquiry into the matter.
Recently, a case of recovery from the driver of a bus full of workers came to light in the Chakarbhatha area. In this, after recovery from the jawan posted in Dial 112, the bus was stopped at Chakarbhatha police station. The jawan posted in the police station asked for Rs 15,000 from the bus driver.
