Raipur: About 100 cardiologists and 300 physicians from across the country will attend the two-day annual conference of Chhattisgarh chapter of Cardiological society of India to be held here in the state capital from June 25th. The conference will discuss innovative procedures in the treatment, including electrical irregularities of the heart by Delhi’s senior Electro physiologist Dr TS Kler.
Solutions for the complications arising during Angioplasty by Dr Vijay Trehan of Govind Ballabh Pant Hospital. Apart from Cardiology, professor of PCI Chandigarh Dr Vijay Vargiya will discuss about techniques of vein angioplasty.
Modern methods in preparation will be discussed by Dr BKS Shastri from Hyderabad while photography of veins of the heart will be taught by Dr Rajeev Memon. A discussion on the latest method of replacing heart valves, without surgery will be conducted during the conference. Lectures of selected 17 cardiologists from allover the country while 20 qualified lecturers in cardiology from the state will also be held in a two-day conference.
Conference organizing committee chairman Dr. Javed Ali Khan said this conference will give a new impetus to the diagnosis and treatment of heart disease while Dr Alok Rai said that from the basic principles to the latest and most detailed topics in the field of cardiology, an effort has been made for the new doctors to increase their knowledge from the advanced established cardiologists.
