AMBIKAPUR: Two men have been arrested for allegedly raping a healthcare worker in broad day light in Chhattisgarh’s Ambikapur district.
Preliminray investigation reveals total three men were involved in raping a nurse in a govt run health care centre on Friday afternoon when the nurse was about to leave the centre which was closed early on the ocassion of Diwali. As per the victims complaint they held her hostage and tied her fist with a rope and took turns to rape her. The victim also claimed that the accused had made a video of the entire incident. It is also learnt that the the victim who was left in the evening was threatened to not inform anyone about the incident. However, depressed victim on reaching home narrated the entire episode to her family and filed a complaint immediately.
According to Jhagrakhand Police the victim is identified as a resident of Paradol Villgae under Manendragarh Tehsil Korea. Police protection has been provided to the victim in order to maintain law and order situation as the probe is underway.
