17 More Passenger Trains Cancelled from CG

 Raipur: Indian Railways has decided to cancel 147 trains, changed sourced station of 13 and short terminated 13 on Thursday, May 5 due to maintenance and operational reasons. The suspension of services comes amidst chief minister Bhupesh Baghel’s strong objection to this decision by the Centre. Among those cancelled on May 5 are trains that operate between Jharkhand, West Bengal, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Delhi, Bihar, Tamil Nadu, Chhattisgarh and Kerala among others. The national transporter has put up a list of fully and partially cancelled trains on its website for the passengers’ convenience. 

In CG, around 17 train operations have been suspended until May 24th. The national transporter has so far cancelled more than 30 trains in Chattisgarh.

Following are the express trains cancelled:

1. Train no.18236/18235 Bilaspur-Bhopal-Bilaspur Express departing from Bilaspur and Bhopal from 05th to 24th May 2022 will remain cancelled
2. Train no. 18247 Bilaspur -Rewa express departing from Bilaspur from May 05 to 23, 2022 will remain cancelled
3. Train no.18248 Rewa – Bilaspur Express scheduled to depart from Rewa from 06th to 24th May 2022 will remain cancelled
4. Train no.11265 Jabalpur- Ambikapur Express scheduled to leave Jabalpur from 05th to 23rd May 2022 will remain cancelled
5. Train no.11266 Ambikapur-Jabalpur Express scheduled to leave Ambikapur from 06th to 24th May 2022 will remain cancelled
6. Train no.12767 Nanded- Santragachhi Express scheduled to leave Nanded on 09th and 16th May, 2022 will remain cancelled
7. Train no.12768 Santragachi – Nanded Express scheduled to depart from Santragachhi on 11th and 18th May 2022 will remain cancelled
8. Train no.22169 Rani Kamalapati – Santragachhi express scheduled to depart from Rani Kamalapati on 11th and 18th May 2022 will remain cancelled
9. Train no.22170 Santragachi-Rani Kamalapati express scheduled to leave Santragachi on 12th and 19th May 2022 will remain cancelled

Services of these MEMU trains have been suspended:

1. Train no. 08738/08737 Bilaspur -Raigarh – Bilaspur MEMUpassenger special departing from 05th to 24th May 2022 to Bilaspur will remain cancelled
2. Train no.08740/08739 Bilaspur – Shahdol – Bilaspur MEMUpassenger special departing Bilaspur and Shahdol from 05th to 24th May 2022 will remain cancelled
3. Train no.08705 Raipur -Dongargarh MEMU passenger special departing from Raipur from 05th to 24th May, 2022 will remain cancelled
4. Train no.08706 Dongargarh- Raipur-Bilaspur MEMU passenger special departing from Dongargarh from 05th to 24th May 2022 will remain cancelled
5. Train no.08709 Raipur – Dongargarh – MEMU passenger special scheduled to leave Raipur from 05th to 23rd May 2022 will remain cancelled
6. Train no.08709 Dongargarh- Raipur MEMU passenger special scheduled to leave Dongargarh from 06th to 24th May 2022 will remain cancelled
7. Train no.08754 Itwari – Ramtek MEMJU passenger special departing from Itwari from 05th to 24th May 2022 will remain cancelled
8. 08755 Ramtek- Nagpur MEMU passenger special departing from Ramtek from 05th to 24th May 2022 will remain cancelled
