Raipur: Chhattisgarh to receive a 1500 bed Multi Super Speciality Hospital at Naya Raipur. The hospital will span across 25 acres which would provide top-notch health care facilities. Officials reported this government set up to utilize potentials of the private hospital in synchrony with the government schemes.
The Chhattisgarh administration has prioritized boosting its health infrastructure since the second wave took the nation by storm. CM Baghel sought an action plan from all collectors to upgrade hospitals from block level to district level.
Baghel vows to provide standard and quality treatment to his citizens. Adding note on the transportation of severely ill patients CM Baghel said,” Establishment of a private hospital of international standards in Nava Raipur will benefit not only Chhattisgarh but also the neighbouring states.” The hospital would facilitate multi-organ transplant, he added.
CM Baghel directed the Chief Secretary of the Health Department to submit an action plan within 15 days. Following which dialogue would finalize the plan of the multi-super speciality hospital.
The proposed hospital would have a capacity of 1,000-1,500 beds where 50 percent of the patients can avail treatment under Dr. Khoobchand Baghel Swasthya Sahayata Yojana or Ayushman Bharat scheme.
