Raipur. The capital police conducted a surprise check early today to crack down on the miscreants. At 5 am, 3 additional SPs, 3 CSPs, 4 police station in-charges, and 150 police personnel of the district raided the BSUP colony of Mujgahan police station area simultaneously, which made the criminals tremble. The police raided the hideouts of many suspects involved in knife attacks, drug sales, and absconding accused. During this, the police have detained more than 15 suspects.
Actually, the police had received information that many people from outside Chhattisgarh are occupying the empty houses in the colony by breaking their locks and living there without any identity card. Some of these people sell narcotics and some are also involved in stabbing incidents. After getting the information, the police has tightened the noose around the suspects living in the colony this morning (BSUP Colony Police Checking).
Raipur police was constantly receiving complaints that some people are doing illegal drug business in Boriyakala BSUP colony, some are breaking the locks of empty houses and occupying them, while some suspicious people are also hiding in this colony, after which Raipur police has launched a surprise checking campaign.
