RAIPUR: Death of dozen of new born babies has created a stir in Chhattisgarh. As many as 13 babies are said to have died due to premature birth. However, the cause of the deaths is unknown yet.
As per reports 200 newborn babies are admitted to Chhattisgarh Institute of Medical Sciences (CIMS) every month in the NICU of the hospital that has 24 beds.
According to AIIMS, treatment for newborn babies is free of cost. It has even said that expensive treatment is also provided at nominal cost at CIMS.
