Security forces have arrested 12 Naxalites with a reward of 1 lakh and 20 thousand from different police station areas. During search in the forest, under the anti-Maoist operation being run in the district, DRG Bijapur has arrested 12 Maoists in Jangla and Mirtur police station area, Becharam and Bade Tungali and Adasmeta, Jappemarka.
The arrested Maoists were actively involved in the Naxalite organization for a long time. These Maoists were involved in incidents like blocking roads in the area, killing the company commander, digging roads, planting IEDs, putting up anti-government banners, murder, arson in towers. All the Maoists were presented in the court on judicial remand after legal action in Mirtur and Jangla police stations.
