Raipur. In the India Skills Competition 2025-26, organized to provide a national platform for youth talent, technical proficiency, and innovation capabilities, youth from Chhattisgarh achieved remarkable success by winning 12 medals and four Medals of Excellence in the East Zone Regional Competition. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai congratulated the youth of Chhattisgarh on this success.

The India Skills Competition 2025-26 is being organized by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India, in four stages: district, state, regional, and national. Selected participants at the national level will have the opportunity to represent India at WorldSkills International.
Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai congratulated the state’s youth on winning the medals, saying that the youth of Chhattisgarh have proven their ability to compete not only at the national but also at the global level. The state government prioritizes skill development and promotes modern training, innovation, and industry-oriented courses. This success is an important step towards realizing the vision of a strong, prosperous Chhattisgarh.
The East Zone Regional Competition concluded on March 2nd in Bhubaneswar, with over 200 participants from Odisha, Bihar, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands competing in 59 skill categories. Chhattisgarh participants performed exceptionally well, earning a total of 12 medals and 4 Medals of Excellence, including 1 gold, 2 silver, 5 bronze, and 4 Medals of Excellence.
