Balrampur. A tragic road accident took place with football players in Balrampur, Chhattisgarh today. About 20 players were going from Vishalpur to Mitgai in a pickup to play football. Meanwhile, the pickup vehicle overturned while taking a side from a truck near Chaki Lava Mode in Vijaynagar Chowki area. More than 12 players were badly injured in this accident and many players fell unconscious.
After getting information about the incident, Vijaynagar Police Station reached the spot and immediately took the injured to the hospital. All the injured were admitted to Ramanujganj Community Health Center, where some players were referred to the district hospital after their condition became critical. At present, the police is investigating the matter.
