With Diljit Dosanjh’s concert soon to happen in Bengaluru, the metro facility is set to go on till midnight today as earlier in a view to accommodate many people who are expected to be in the concert. This was confirmed by the Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL), where the fans can comfortably move to the venue without worrying that transport would stop at around 11 pm, as it happens mostly.

When asked about the move, SP CK Baba of Bengaluru Rural said, “Since many use the metro as their primary mode of transport, we approached BMRCL to provide its services till 12 am for the convenience of concert attendees.” This extension is part of what the authorities have in stock to ensure that there is absolutely easy and unhindered travel for the crowd expected for the Diljit Dosanjh concert at the NICE Grounds in Madavara. The concert, a show of the Dil-Luminati ten-city India tour, has generated a lot of buzz, especially among fans who are from the country.

The BMRCL proposed to synchronise metro services to roll late into the night, thus avoiding further traffic and ensuring concertgoers have good transport networks at late-night shows. Public transport offices have urged people to consider using the metro because of convenience and also appealed to people to coordinate their movements in order to use the metro.

The concert itself is expected to be a high-energy event, with gates opening at 4 PM and the show set to start between 7 PM and 7:30 PM. The concern is that this is going to be a highly attended event, and therefore, fans are urged to come early to avoid being locked out. The event will end at eleven in the evening to act as a signal for the metro to help those who want to leave to get home.

Before that unforgettable concert, Diljit Dosanjh paid a visit to Bengaluru’s Rameshwaram Café which is famous for serving the famous ‘Ghee podi idli’, a South Indian dish that has people craving for his performance in Bengaluru.
