Unfortunately, one among the Ayyappa Maladharis, the ARCON official who got severe burn injuries in the fire accident that happened in Hubbali on December 23rd, also passed away in the early morning of Thursday. According to the report, the fire occurrence was a result of a gas explosion that affected several devotees.
There were seven other victims injured, who are being treated at the Karnataka Medical College and Research Institute in Hubbali at the moment. The status of the injured is constantly monitored by specialized doctors, and qualified medical personnel give treatment to the injured.
Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara went to the hospital to supervise the condition of the other devotees who were injured during the stampede. He complained and assured them that they would be treated medically as they should. Stating on X (previously Twitter), Parameshwara said he was going to seek monetary damages for the injured from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. “Ayyappa Maladharis of Sainagar, Hubbali, was badly burnt and injured in a cooking gas explosion, and our expert team is treating them. I have visited the hospital, and after this, I will plead with the Chief Minister to compensate them,” he said.
In another unfortunate occurrence, three people died while nine remained injured in a road incident that happened near the Gobbur village in Karnataka’s Kalaburagi district on Wednesday. The accident was between a truck loaded with sugarcane, a tour travel car, and a bike.
The deceased have been police have named as Vinita (56), Anoop (29), and Basavaraj (40). The wounded were quickly evacuated to a hospital for treatment of their injuries.
Both these sad occurrences have raised the gloom of Karnataka, and it is crucial to follow road safety standards and take utmost care while dealing with any cylinder-associated items.
