Union Home Minister and BJP leader Amit Shah unleashed a serious warning on Tuesday to the JMM-Congress alliance, saying that he would not spare anyone involved in financial misappropriation in Jharkhand.

Addressing a political rally at Jharia, Dhanbad, Shah alleged that the JMM-Congress leaders had looted the public money meant for youths and the poor of Jharkhand or the Jharia and Dhanbad areas. He said that the money that was looted from the tribals, backward classes, and youths of the state would be recovered and added to the state treasury if the BJP is formed next time. Even a contentious phrase of Shah, ‘to hang them upside down,’ was part of the comment toward the political opponents and the propensity in the performance of the government in terms of being accountable.

The BJP leader again attacked Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for not delivering on the promises he made to the people of India. “Many of the things announced by Rahul Baba are just proclamations that are never acted upon. To date, he and Congress’s party president Mallikarjun Kharge are admitting nothing will be accomplished,” Shah said; this is in reference to the BJP’s commitment to Modi’ which Shah says is engraved in stone.

Shah sought votes for the BJP in the election, asking the people of Jharkhand to decide on the future of the state. He requested the voters to decide between JMM, which he alleges to be ‘disproportionately corrupt’, and BJP, which he said would usher in development that would ensure poor families have a good life with the means to lead such a life.

Apart from such statements, Amit Shah also pledged that should BJP come to power in the state then BJP would set up a committee to identify foreign intruders in the state and flush them out from Jharkhand. He further stated that he would not allow foreign intruders, especially those who marry tribal women, to grab land under the BJP.
