Air India Express said it will begin daily non-stop flights between Bengaluru and Kathmandu from June 1 onward. The airline is adding this new international route as part of growing its services to many short-haul leisure destinations in Asia.
The new route is seen by Air India Express’s Managing Director, Aloke Singh, as a way to boost the airline’s presence in important worldwide areas. Singh said in a press release that the route comes after Air India began flights to short-haul international vacation spots such as Bangkok and Phuket.
Flights out of Bengaluru are leaving daily at 5:05 AM, and flights coming back from Kathmandu leave at 9:05 AM. The morning flight plan helps travellers visiting Nepal for work or pleasure move from India smoothly.
You can arrange a booking for the new route using airindiaexpress.com or any well-known booking platform. For the launch, Air India Express has priced its award-winning Xpress Lite package at ₹8,000 and Xpress Value at ₹8,500.
The new service helps to improve travel connections for passengers in India. From Bengaluru, Air India Express offers over 450 flights each week to 31 destinations in India and abroad, which makes it possible for travellers from Delhi, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kochi, Goa, Srinagar, Pune and other cities to reach Kathmandu with just one stop. Tourists can use the connection from Abu Dhabi and Dammam to Bengaluru and then fly to Kathmandu.
Because of the Bengaluru–Kathmandu route, there will be more opportunities for people from India and Nepal to visit each other and trade, while also benefiting those looking for comfortable and easy international transport.
