Mumbai have notched up another impressive win! They make it four in four and are looking like an extremely professional and motivated unit. UP tried hard and had their moments in the game but Mumbai were too good in crunch situations and have won this game quite comfortably in the end. They defeated UP Warriorz by 8-wickets in just 17.3 overs.

Alyssa Healy scored 58 runs and Tahlia McGrath hit 50 as UP Warriorz posted 159 for 6 against Mumbai Indians on Sunday. While the two shone with their respective knocks, the other UPW batters failed to immitate the effort.

Saika Ishaque was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 3 for 33. Saika removed Devika Vaidya in her first over but was hit for four boundaries in the next over by UP Warriorz captain Alyssa Healy, who scored 58 off 46 balls. Saika then made a brilliant comeback and packed Healy and Tahila McGrath (50 off 37 balls) in the same over towards the end of UP innings, shifting the momentum back into Mumbai’s favour.

Yastika Bhatia and Hayley Matthews got Mumbai Indians off to a solid start in the 160-run chase against UP Warriorz in the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2023 clash on Sunday. The pair added 51 runs in the powerplay overs, and moments later Rajeshwari Gayakwad removed Yastika for 42 (27). Sophie Ecclestone then got rid of in-form Hayley 12 (17) in the next over.

UPW skipper Healy won the toss and opted to bat first. Table-toppers the Harmanpreet-led Mumbai Indians are currently leading the five-team table with six points, having won all three matches so far, while UP Warriorz are third with four points.
