Manchester United (ManU) has confirmed roping in Christiano Ronaldo on a two-year contract with the subset of extension for another year subjected to International Clearance.
The Club on Friday announced the return of the legendary ex-Red for his second spell at Old Trafford for a fee of 23 million euros from Juventus. Speaking to local reporters before Sundays Premier league match against Wolverhampton Wanderers, Solskjaer Ole the Boss of ManU reacted to the announcement saying,” Of Course the fans have been excited for the last couple of days, we all are of course.”
Speaking about his the legendary footballer said, “Manchester United is a club that has always had a special place in my heart, and I have been overwhelmed by all the messages I have received since the announcement on Friday.”
Christiano is a five-time Ballon D’or winner and has so far clinched over 30 major trophies during his career, including five UEFA Champions League titles, four FIFA Clubs World Cups, seven league titles in Italy, England and Spain and the UEFA European Championship for his native Portugal. He rules the football land being the first player to win leagues in three different countries and scored the highest in the latest season’s Serie A. Christiano also vouched the golden boot at this European Championship. In his first spell at ManU, he scored 118 goals in 292 games.
