Looking ahead, Bumrah will be walking for the toss at 4.30 AM IST tomorrow. India must win the next game to draw the series and more importantly to qualify for the ICC World Test Championship. The Indian team would be under pressure tomorrow as Aussies have always been tough against their opponents in Sydney.
Rohit’s opting out has made Shubhman Gill return at No. 3. He scored 28 and 31 in the Adelaide test. He was unfortunately dropped after Jaiswal and KL Rahul’s partnership of 201 runs at the first test match of the series.
