It is day 10 of the Paris Olympics 2024, and India has been making good progress in the events and competitions. The pre-quarter-final match was a women’s team table tennis match in which the India team played against the Romanian team. Thus, Sreeja Akula and Archana Kamath, without a doubt, played their best game to win the first match in dominance. Manika Batra then made it even easier for India to win the second match and make the score line 2-0.

Also, in hockey, the Indian men’s team rose to the occasion of defeating Great Britain in the penalty shootouts, with the final score tied at 1-1. But in shooting, Vijayveer Sidhu and Anish Bhanwala failed to make the cut for the final of the men’s 25m rapid-fire pistol. India’s boxing also ended as Borgohain was defeated in the women’s 75 kg quarterfinal bout, thus with no medal chance.
