World: The 34-year-old Argentine footballer is all set to join Paris Saint-Germain, popularly referred to as PSG, after ending his 21 years of partnership with the Spanish club Barcelona last week. As per reports, Lionel Messi has signed a lucrative two-year pact with the French football club. Lionel Messi completed his medical examinations and was reportedly spotted in Parc des Princes wearing a PSG Kit.
Messi revealed that he will opt for number 30; the number he had when he made his debut at his former club, Barcelona FC. “I am excited to begin a new chapter of my career at Paris Saint-Germain. He arrived at Le Bourget Airport on Tuesday afternoon and was warmly greeted by thousands of PSG supporters who were present to catch a vivid glimpse and witness their new signing.
The transfer reunited him with his ex-Barca teammate Neymar and the France striker Kylian Mbappe. Neymar posted a picture with Lionel Messi in an Instagram story and captioned it as “back together “while confirming the deal. Messi went on to praise the squad and coaching staff of the team and was keen to offer something remarkable to the team and his fans.
