Rajasthan Royals are set to cross swords with Royal Challengers Bangalore in Match No.43 of Indian Premier League 2021 on Wednesday, September 29th at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai.
The Royals started their UAE leg with a win, but have faced back-to-back losses. In their previous game, SunRisers Hyderabad beat them by 7 wickets despite Sanju Samson scoring a sparkling half-century. The Royals are placed at the 6th spot in the points table. The Challengers, on the other hand, must be brimming with confidence after they defeated the Mumbai Indians by 54 runs. With their 6th win, they tightened their grip at the number 3 slot. Another win will take them one step closer to qualifying for the playoffs of the T21 league.
Virat Kohli hasn’t been at his very best in the ongoing edition of the IPL. However, he isn’t ridiculously out of form. In the Challenger’s previous game against the Mumbai Indians, Kohli scored a half-century. The Royals’ bowling isn’t in the best of form and Virat has a golden chance to get another substantial knock under his belt. Whereas Yuzvendra Chahal hasn’t been awful, but he hasn’t set the stage on fire either. In 10 matches, the leg-spinner has picked up 9 wickets at an economy rate of 7.57. The Royal’s batting has stuttered a wee bit and the Challengers have every chance of getting over the line.
