The cheapest ticket in the stadium is for Rs 500. Two blocks have been specially designated for this. The price of lower ticket is Rs 1000, Gold Rs 6000, Platinum Rs 8000, and Carpet Box ticket is Rs 10,000. Only the tickets for the match between India and West Indies are quite expensive. The tickets for the rest of the matches start from Rs 100, which is considered quite cheap.
