Guwahati: India won the first ODI of the three-match ODI series at Barsapara Stadium in Guwahati tonight by 67 runs. BCCI confirmed the news through an official tweet.

Sri Lanka skipper Dasun Shanaka gets to his fourth ODI fifty off 50 balls. However, Dhananjaya de Silva and Pathum Nissanka’s partnership gave Sri Lanka some hope when they both put up a 72-run partnership off 65 balls for the fourth wicket.
The next match of the ODI series is scheduled for January 15 at Greenfield International Stadium, Thiruvananthapuram. This tournament was initially in the International Cricket Council’s Future Tour Program and BCCI shall be keeping its commitment.
