IND vs WI, 2nd Test Day 3: The second and last match of the test series between India and West Indies is being played at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. Indian team declared its first innings on the second day at the score of 518/5. In reply, West Indies was all out on 248 runs on the third day. After this, Indian team gave follow-on to West Indies. West Indies team was 270 runs behind India on the basis of first innings. For India, Kuldeep Yadav took five wickets while Ravindra Jadeja took three wickets. For West Indies, Alick Athanaze contributed 41 runs while Shai Hope contributed 36 runs.
West Indies resumed play today at 140 for four and lost the remaining six wickets in the process for 108 runs. Kuldeep Yadav bowled lethally, taking five wickets. This was his fifth five-wicket haul of his Test career.
Kuldeep delivered the first three wickets of the day. He dismissed Shai Hope (36), Tevin Imlach (21), and Justin Greaves (17). Siraj then clean bowled Jomel Warrican, who managed just one run. Bumrah then bowled Khary Pierre, who managed 23. Finally, Kuldeep dismissed Jaden Seales (13) LBW, ending West Indies’ innings at 248 in 81.5 overs.
Anderson Phillip remained unbeaten on 24. Prior to this, John Campbell was dismissed for 10, Tejnarayan Chanderpaul for 34, and Alick Athanaze for 41. Captain Roston Chase remained unbeaten on 10. For India, Ravindra Jadeja took three wickets, while Kuldeep Yadav and Bumrah and Siraj each took one wicket.
