Bangalore: After a spectacular batting show by all the top 5 batters, Indian bowlers demolished Netherlands’s batting and sent all the players to pavilion by 47.5 overs. With this, India thrashed Netherlands by a whopping 160 runs and continued its winning streak by winning 9 straight matches in the World Cup 2023.

Centuries from Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul powered India to a 160-run World Cup win over the Netherlands as they completed the group stage with a perfect 9 wins in 9 games. Iyer (128*) and Rahul (102) put on 208 runs to guide India to 410 for 4.

Chasing a MASSIVE 411 runs, Netherlands kept loosing wickets at quick intervals. Apart from Teja Nidamanuru (54), no other player could cross 50 runs. For Netherlands, Sybrand Engelbrecht scored 45 runs, Colin Ackermann scored 35 and Max O’Dowd hit 30 runs. All the other batters scored less than 20 runs. 

Now, India will move to Mumbai for the high-stakes semi-final clash against New Zealand on Wednesday. In a sensational batting display at M Chinnaswammy Stadium, local boy Rahul struck a stupendous 64-ball 102, firing the fastest ton by an Indian in the World cup while Shreyas registered his highest ODI score of 128 not out.
